Feathers

Feathers are so cool. They have so much texture and color to them, and they always seem to be a focal point in a room. I found this photo in a magazine (thanks Julie!) and was immediately drawn to the feathers.

So pretty, and oh so shabby chic! So, what did i do? Duh, i went out and copied the picture.

This vase was in my office and i had some curly willow in it. But look at it now...so much more feminine! (plus only $10 for the feathers)

I also really love peacock feathers. I have another vase in my house that has a bouquet of them.
