Box of Goodies

Thanks to the lovely Michelle Grant, i got a nice surprise on my front porch a few weeks ago! A box full of fun little shabby chic items, including one lovely little chandelier...and you know what i think of them!

 

I love the blue, but i am going to put it in my already very blue laundry room. 

So, white it is.

After a few coats of spray paint...

 

Now i just need to get a few candles. 

What color?

We basically use our garage door as our front door, so this little gem is the first thing i see when i get home. Thanks again Michelle! Love it!

Vacay to the Rescue

Moving Things Around

So with work being really stressful right now, i have been coming home and re-organizing. Why? I have NO idea, but i do believe it has been a decent little stress reliever! 

My kitchen island seems to always need a little something extra...but what? Here is what it looked like, i bought a new tray, but it just wasnt right.

But after moving a few things around, this is what its currently like. What do you think?

This is a piece of my grandmas silver. I absolutely love it, but never knew where to put it.

I dont want it to be too big. Is it? Better before, or after?

Super easy. Just needed 3 pieces of wood (one 2"x8"x10', and two smaller ones for the sides), old piece of barnwood, some nails and a saw.

Just need to play around with what goes on top.

 Need to go shopping!

Finally. Over a month later. Its up! 

After some teeth pulling from Jacob, my Dad came over and hung it.

I absolutely love it.
