Lamps are so cool. I am so obsessed with the way lamps light up a room. Growing up, whenever we had guests coming over, or i came back to visit from college, my mom would always turn off the lights around the house and turn on the lamps. It just makes you feel cozy, welcome and warm. And although i woke up somehow not knowing about the time change and missing church, i get to cozy up by the fire with only lamps on, enjoying God's gift of rain.

The all time best place to get lamps is Hobby Lobby hands down. The first two photos are both from Hob Lob. The blue glass base lamp (3rd pic) if from Target, and it is right at my entry door to the house. I get more compliments on it. As for the last picture, on our very boring and rainy Saturday yesterday, we got this fancy schmancy lamp at Cabela's. Thats just what you walk into Cablea's thinking your going to walk out with...a lamp haha. But i talked him into it, and i think he secretly loves it. This lamp is in "Jacob's room" (he does NOT like it to be called a "man room" for some reason FYI). It goes perfectly with his deer heads, golf clubs, and sports memorabilia.
