Weekend Inspirations

Just been drooling over my old Pinterest pins this morning. I would love to a professional Pinterest-er. Hmm, one day maybe?
Here are a few i have been swooning over. The plan: Tackle them all. We. Will. See.
Curtain Tieback- Ribbon and a Flower. Simple and chic.

5 pieces of wood, some nails and pain. Love it.

Maps: Where you met, where you went on your honeymoon, where you live now.

A frame and paper. A romantic tray for my vanity.

I. Freaking. Love.

So my birthday was last week...boo, 26. Yea, i know im not old, but thinking that i graduated from highschool 8 years ago, when my little brother graduated 2 weeks ago is just depressing. Im not going to do what my mom does, and always round up to the next horrible age-like 30. No sir-y. Im only 26.

You know your getting old when you ask for a Sonicare Toothbrush (and I got it haha! Thanks Mom). I got so many amazing gifts though, that i absolutely love every single one. There was one in particular i thought i would share with you. I thought it was such a good idea for someone who is hard to buy for! Thanks Taylor for the amazing gift, and im going to share one of your million good ideas!

So, my gift was....

A...

Sushi making set, with all the essentials! How freaking cool, huh?

Cannot wait to crack this baby open, and make me some homemade sushi!

Wedding Season

I love weddings. Tonight we have our 4th wedding with in the last 3 months. I would totally be down to go to a wedding a month for the rest of my life. This one is in Austin and we could not be more excited that we dont have to travel. Makes me miss our wedding. All our friends, and family gathered in one place. The best weekend of your life! All the details that you worked so hard on for the past year and half the people dont even notice them, you included.
This last weekend when we were up in Dallas with our newlywed friends, Kate gave me an entire CD of 250 pictures she took from my bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, and entire wedding day. Ah the memories. Thanks Kate for all the fun pictures. I love seeing the behind the scenes pictures. Lets take a trip down memory lane guys...

I love this town

I am so in love with the farmers market. I would only shop at them if i could.
Never will you find anything like this at the grocery store. Pure beauty.
Today's adventure to the Cedar Park Farmers Market turned into a bummer real fast when we realized we only had $15 cash. We had to spend wisely. We have our routine vendors: the hummus lady, the curry sauce lady, Moonshine sweet tea, the cheese lady, and then whatever veggies are in season. Well, with only the cash in our pocket the routine had to change. What did we end up with today you ask?? Well, half a pound of fresh king crab claw meat (jealous? ya, you should be), half a pound of okra, one pound of pickling cucumbers, and an Indian tomato curry sauce.  Maybe we should break out of our routine a little more often!
Lunch, I am very excited about you.
Not sure exactly whats going to end up in the pan, but after it all came together, i was very excited about the results. Pictures do zero justice.

My guessitmates on what ended up inside...
half pound of okra, half a white onion, a handful of mushrooms, 5 medium tomatoes, half pound of crab meat, a few tablespoons of butter, salt, pepper and garlic. Easy peasy.

Hungry? So why not finish off lunch with a refreshing cocktail. Virgin though. Had too much last night. Eh.
Watermelon agua fresca. Delish.
Happy Saturday. Cheers!
